Fayette County College and Technical Fair
Date: Wednesday, October 1, 2008
Time: 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Location: Community Center, Penn State Fayette Campus

More than fifty universities, colleges and technical school from the tri-state area will be on hand to provide admissions information. PHEAA, EOC, student aid and military personnel will also be available to answer your questions. Open to the public.

Taste of Penn State Day
Date: Monday, October 13, 2008
Time: 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Location: 204 Eberly Building

Spend a day as a Penn State student. Attend tow mock classes, eat lunch with faculty in our cafeteria and finish the day with a campus tour.

NIOSH/Pittsburgh Coal Mine Tour
Date: Thursday, October 16, 2006
Time: 8:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Location: NIOSH Research Facility

Students interested in a professional mining career are invited to tour the NIOSH Research Facility. Take a tour if a safety research experimental coal mine and view research mining demonstrations. There is no charge for this event, but it is limited to 30 students. Lunch is included.You must pre-register for this event.

CSI (Crime Scene Investigation) - Fayette
Date:Tuesday, October21, 2008
Time: 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Location: 116 Eberly Building

Professionals from all law enforcement agencies will be on hand to explain career opportunities in the criminal justice field. Hear from a local magistrate, police officer, probation officer, State Police officer and the Fayette County Coroner's Office. Experience a "lie detection" demonstration. Hear as Penn State Fayette's AOJ faculty and admissions counselors explain how to apply to Penn State. All who attend will receive a CSI: Fayette T-shirt.

Penn State Day
Date: Saturday, October 25, 2008
Time: 9:00 a.m. - Noon
Location: Community Center, Penn State Fayette Campus

Penn State Day will celebrate the educational opportunities available to prospective students. Information on degree programs, admissions strategies, financial aid opportunities, plus much ore will be provided. The $50 application fee will be waived if you apply.

Exploring Career Paths
Date: Wednesday, November 5, 2008
Time: 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Location: 111 Eberly Building

What career path is best for you? Penn State Fayette's Career Services Department ill administer the Discover Test to all who attend. An evaluation of your test results will given. How to do a scholarship search will also we explained. This event is limited to 24 students. All students must pre-register to participate.

Veterans Day/Extended Campus Tours
Date: Tuesday, November 11, 2008
Time: 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Location: Community Center, Penn State Fayette Campus

Start with breakfast or lunch in our cafeteria and then take an all inclusive tour of Penn State Fayette. A Q- and -A session with Admissions will follow. Due to the length of the tour, participants are asked to dress in accord with the day's weather and wear comfortable shoes. There will be two sessions to choose from:

"Think two-year degree, Think Penn State"
Date: Wednesday, November 19, 2008
Time: 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Location: Williams Building

A panel of recent Penn State's two-year degree graduates will talk about their Penn State education and the job opportunities they have had. Penn State faculty, admissions counselors and student aid will also speak to interested students. Complete your application to Penn State and the $50 application fee will be waived.
